Description

Conjugate is a dynamic web application I developed using React and Cloud Firestore to help students practice and memorize Spanish verb conjugations. Recognizing that memorization is often the biggest hurdle for language learners, I created a beautiful, interactive, and personalized tool to make practice more effective and engaging.

Features

Multiple Tenses

Users can select from five core Spanish tenses to study - present, preterite, imperfect, conditional, and future.

Focused Practice

For any tense, users can start a practice session by setting which verb endings to include and the number of verbs they want to tackle.

Challenge Bank

Conjugate tracks incorrectly conjugated verbs and adds them to a challenge bank, allowing users to review the verbs they find most difficult.

Customized Practice

Users can create their own study lists by searching for and adding specific verbs. This is perfect for preparing for a quiz or focusing on a particular set of vocabulary.

User Accounts

The app supports user profiles, enabling the storage of progress, custom lists, and challenge verbs for a persistent and personalized experience.

Intuitive Interface

The practice screen is designed for ease of use, defining the verb and offering a simple way to input special characters and accents.
